Main Entrance and The Center's Stage

TCCC remains deeply appreciative of the support accorded by the Tarzana Neighborhood Council in providing the Center with an expanded front porch which also serves as the main stage for such events as music festivals, fashion shows, auctions and CERT presentations.

Gazebo Photo

From its construction in 2004, TCCC's gazebo has become regarded as an elegant touch to the Center's overall ambiance. Besides serving as the centerpiece for weddings and other special events, it also functions as the central serving area for parties.

Rose Garden Photo

The Rose Garden, which surrounds a graceful plinth fountain, was made possible by TCCC'S first Neighborhood Matching Funds grant in 2004. The garden provides passers-by with a spectacular splash of color from early spring until late fall.

Children's Garden

The Children's Garden evokes whimsical elements of the African landscape, which are altogether appropriate for Tarzan country. The botanical garden includes "Elephant Island" and Giraffe Ridge, as well as an herb garden and a "kitchen garden", which is replenished each spring by a Brownie troop.

Koi Pond Photo

The cacophony of L.A.'s busy lifestyle fades away as visitors of all ages take time out to sit down by the Center's beautiful, double-waterfall Koi Pond and just unwind. It is an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, reminisce with a friend, read a poem or write one yourself!

The Founder's Fountain

The Founders Fountain and brick patio, located on the Center's northwest corner, offers visitors' seating on three surrounding benches. By night the three-tiered fountain and stately 60-year-old pines are softly illuminated by low voltage lighting.
