The mission of the Tarzana Property Owners Association is "to preserve and enhance the quality of life for residents of our community. We espouse a balanced approach with due consideration for the concerns of current homeowners, future residents, and commercial and residential developers.

To promote public participation in city governance and decision making processes, to make government more responsive to local needs and requests, and to create more opportunities to build partnerships with government to address local needs and requests. Woodland Hills - Tarzana Chamber of Commerce
Since its inception in 1930, the Chamber has been dedicated to community service, organizing special events that benefit charitable groups, and coordinating various committees and programs to address the social, political and economic concerns of residents and businesses in the Woodland Hills area.
Councilman Dennis P. Zine, Third District
Born, raised, and educated in Los Angeles, Councilman Dennis P. Zine, Third District was first elected to represent Council District 3 in 2001. The district includes the communities of Canoga Park, Reseda, Tarzana, West Hills, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills with a population of nearly 300,000 residents. States Councilman Zine, "The Tarzana Comminity & Cultural Center is a valuable resource that should be preserved for genereations to come as a community gathering place and a center for historic preservations."
